In no particular order below are my favourite Vegan friendly eateries in Auckland, New Zealand.

BOWL & ARROW
Plant based heaven, Bowl & Arrow have three stores around Auckland, including the beautiful Commercial Bay location. Smoothie bowls are at the heart of the operation, topped with various goodies like Fix & Fogg peanut butter and fresh berries.

KIND CAFE - MORNINGSIDE
KIND specialises in mostly plant based food. Set in a beautiful, large cafe with indoor and outdoor seating this is a great spot to come with a group of friends. I ordered the KIND POKE BOWL which had sesame ginger tofu, edamame, carrots, cabbage, cucumber, toasted macadamia nuts & avocado. Fresh and delish!

EAST EATS NZ
East is a Vegetarian restaurant in Auckland city. They believe that vegetarian and vegan dining does not mean sacrificing taste, and the food absolutely reflects that. Asian flavours – salty, sweet, sour, spicy and even sometimes bitter, it’s a great place to go with a group and share dishes.
Personally, this is one of my favourite restaurants in NZ!

WISEBOYS
Fully vegan takeaway joint in commercial bay, or OG location in Grey Lynn. These burgers are next level delicious. I always order the Smoke & Fire burger: deep-fried crispy tofu with smoke and fire satay sauce, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion and tomato relish
Make sure to pickup a few jars of the Wise Boys Vegan sauces to take home, they’re incredible! @wiseboysnz
GEMMAYZE STREET
Word on the street is this place has the best hummus in Auckland, and after a taste test - I think they’re right! Tucked away in St Kevins arcade, it’s a vibrant spot where you can order a range of dishes to share. Vegan options are clearly labelled which we love to see!

THE BUTCHERS SON
An entirely vegan restaurant in Herne Bay, The Butchers Son menu has a wide range of options from jalapeno poppers, to pad thai and sunfed chicken burgers. I ordered the tacos, packed with crispy spiced fried cauliflower, chipotle aioli, charred pineapple chilli salsa & pumpkin seeds.

TART BAKERY
Tart is a 100% cruelty free bakery lwith two locations. In Commercial bay right next door to Wise Boys and in Grey Lynn. You can buy any traditional bakery goods here from sausage rolls to donuts, but they’re all vegan!
