Vegan tan squares
VEGAN TAN SQUARES ✨
One of my favourite memories from my childhood is having my Gran come to visit & enjoying her delicious baking 👩🏼🍳 🤍
I recently looked out her cook books to try ‘veganise’ some of the recipes - nostalgia & a challenge!
What are some classic bakes from your childhood?! Let me know down below which ones you’d like to see veganised, I’m sure most of them will be kiwi classics haha!
These tan squares / tan slices were such a favourite of ours growing up. I haven’t quite nailed it as per my Grans immaculate, beautiful baking. The base shouldn’t be as thick and the layers more defined, but they’re absolutely delicious so that’s what counts!! 😉
